Thousands of square metres of Air-Pot material have been sent to Spain to containerise the enormous root balls of ancient olive trees. The product lends itself to wrapping irregular sized rootballs and to putting on further roots very rapidly. Alexander at Plantas Europeas (photographed) has cut production time from 12 to 7 months.

Over the years the Air-Pot has become best known for containerising big trees, but now our customers are becoming increasingly concerned with getting the very best starter stock - from seed. We are sending out 'Air-Cells' from 0.3 - litre and the response in Italy and Oregon in particular has been very exciting.

Everything about Enrico's operation at Edenvivai (east of Milan in the Caneto region) is about quality. And he sells his 9 litre Air-Pot stock on to his neighbours at Tecnovivai and Chiesa Piante (amongst others) who grow on in 80 litre for the landscape market.
